decided to try the 1
Hour Baby Sweater pattern in order to teach myself to do the basic afghan
stitch. Not terribly hard to learn so that was nice. The part that was NOT nice was that I'm convinced
this sweater pattern is weirdly proportioned. 
I
used Caron Simply Soft in a blue and while the pattern suggests that for preemies,
there is no WAY this is preemie sized. I was looking at it thinking it would fit
my 3 yr old niece excpet that it would be too short. I could double the length
and it would be ok for her. But a preemie? Nope. So
now I'm trying to figure out if it was me, the pattern, the yarn, or the hook
or some combination that was the culprit. I got so annoyed that I never bothered
doing the other sleeve. I'm probably going to unravel it all and start over.
