13 , 2004 -- Purple
Pom Pom Hat
and ScarfI've
been working on afghan squares but finally sat down to upload pictures of Karen's
stuff before I mail it. Here's
the same pompom hat as the green, but done in purple:

went to get silver colored beads for the ends of both hats and I'm happy with
how they look: 
The
scarf was really simple to work up and I wrote the directions
for the tutorial. It's 12 inches wide by 60 inches long with no fringe as per
Karen's request: 
The
Lion Homespun yarn and the sc's through back loops to give it a ribbed texture
help make it a little more interesting but I think for a new crochet person it's
a nice simple project.
