14, 2003 -- Squares: 14, 22,
24, 34, 35, 57Had a bit
if a square marathon last night -- I'm 2 squares away from being done with all
the red ones. I'm not
esp. happy with how the 63 block pictures are turning out. It's hard getting the
dark red and blue to show texture and then the white to be white and not wash
out the texture. It's most noticeable on the
mini-index page. I am probably going to retake them all when I'm finished
but before I whipstitch and try to get a better color balance/consistency. #14:
Seed Stitch: This has
always been a favorite of mine -- sc's alternating with ch. I've used it a lot
in other projects.
#22:
Cross Stitch Similar
to the #12 Open Ridge Stitch but you don't work in free loops and it is dc based
rather than hdc.
#24:
Climbing Shells I was
thinking this would make a good scarf pattern if you just kept going with it.

#35:
Twin Stitch This would
also make a good blanket.
#57: Alternative Mesh
Stitch This one was
boring to me. Row of solid dc alternating with dc-ch-dc type rows.
