Loops

Across the top of your work, you will see interlocking "V" shapes. The ones closest to you are the "front loops."

The ones away from you are called "back loops."

You can also work through both loops at the same time.

Usually patterns will specify for you to work in back loops only or both loops If no specification is made, most patterns assume you are working just through the front loops.

When you work in front loops or back loops, you will get a line of "free loops" .
