Slip Stitch


Pattern:

Ch desired length.

Row 1: Insert hook in in second chain from hook. Yarn over and draw through both loops on hook. Slip stitch made. (slip st)

Continue to slip st in each ch across.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn work. Slip st in 2nd loop from hook and all the way across.

Repeat Row 2 until desired length.

Variations:

While possible to make a fabric with only slip st, it tends to have a stiff feeling. This fabric is also known as" poor man's knitting."
