Long stretches, FT cloth

Julia is going for logner stretches dry. I haven't been home enough to do notes, but I'm still proud of her. We did a whole grocery store thing this week and she went and came back and stayed dry for a while ever after getting home. Hooray!

Right now we're having trouble with the volume of when she finally DOES go. She's learning to hold it it, but when she's close to popping I have to get to her fast or she bursts. trying to offset this by giving her chances to go even though she's not cueing at the moment.

We enjoyed AP playgroup last sunday and afterwards, Paul floored me by telling me he's ready to go cloth FT instead of at home and then disposables out. I think listening to the EC talk and seeing other families coping with it made him realzie it wasn't going to be as big a deal as he thought.

I'm thrilled -- means I have to get some more cloth diapers/try sewing some more fitteds but after we have anough cloth and run through the disposables we already have it will be a blessing not to have to buy any more.

Julia just does better in cloth -- she hollers if I miss a catch in cloth and in disposables she can't tell she's wet so she does not react. Since I don't want her to get used to letting it go in the diaper, I rather have her in cloth where there's the incentive to try to hold it because she hates to be wet.
