Orange Butterfly HoneyBoy Fitted Diaper

So I've been working on a fitted diaper using the HoneyBoy pattern. I got most of it done last night but I left the back open until I hear from the people on the HB newsgroup for advice on the elastic casings. I could stand to do those again so they are straighter.

I think for my first try at it, it came out pretty good. A little crooked with the elastic but usable. The outer is a butterply print, the inner is dusty purple micorfleece to wick away pee. The soaker inside is sherpa terry and one flannel to stabalize it. (The sherpa is stretchy.)

I was trying to follow the pattern directions exactly but I can already see where I will be making changes like using straight instead of zig-zag to apply the Aplix, zig-zagging raw seams before turning, etc.

I'm having fun. I'll get Julia to model once it's done, washed, and ready to wear.
