November 2, 2000 My eyes
are a bit itchy, but I just took a Comtrex so it ought to kick in any minute now...
Early this morning I did light weights -- cut back on both weights and reps.
While I was doing them I was thinking about this evening. If I feel ok, I plan
to either go to gym or make Paul come with me around the neighborhood. I can tell
I am not running on full, so I will probably just walk and cut back to two miles
rather than trying the 3.25 schedule for today. If I don't feel ok, I'll do it
tomorrow, but I do know I want to start easing back into it soon. All this week
the temps are going to be in the high 70's! Yay! I may have to buy some new capri's/track
pants. posted by Cat 'Astrophe' 9:44 AM
November 1, 2000 Yay, Cat got trick-or-treaters! I got
exactly one - my little next door neighbor Joel. But it was raining, so I'm REALLY
not surprised. Went back to Weight Watchers meetings; the inspiration and the
good leader really helps. Looking forward to running tonight; I've switched
the schedule ahead one day, so that I don't have to do hour-long runs every Tuesday
and Thursday (you know, when I have class at night). posted

training 10/30 Locale: PF Minutes: 44 Mileage: 2.0
2000 mileage: 133.0 So yes, I did figure out what my mileage to date was, and
added another two last night. It wasn't as good a workout as I had been hoping,
however.. but as good as can be expected with what
happened yesterday. The link provides much more information than I can bear
to type here right now.. I'm so sore! posted by Adrith 10:02
AM Training 10/31
- Focus: 3.25 mile run
- Actual: 2 mile walk
My first trick-or-treater
was my 2 yr-old neighbor from across the street with his dad at 6:30 PM. He came
as Blue from Blues clues. Right on his heels at an average on 1 kid per minute,
came 100 children. My front door was slamming open and shut so much I quit trying
to sit back down with my book on the sofa and just hung out on my foyer. The candy
stash was wiped out by 8:15 PM. Paul and I quickly closed up shop, put out all
the lights, brought in the the candles, pumpkins, witchy brooms. The only thing
we left out there was the scarecrow. Then we went out for a brisk walk through
the neighborhood to see the rest of the kids and decorated houses. That was the
most fun 100 NF pledge forms to walk out my door! I feel better from the
flu, and the walk wasn't bad, but I am very tired now. It just wore me out. I
am glad tomorrow is a rest day! Adrith e-mailed me this week to tell me that we
broke over $2000 raised. Yay! :) posted by Cat

Still out with the flu. Mainly in my nose now, so hopefully on it's way out.
No coughing fits like before and my temp. is settling down. While I didn't do
much cardio this week, I did get in 3 light weight training workouts. Got the
Halloween cards ready and labelled a bunch of pledge cards. Next week I'll get
on with doing some more fundraising letters. Comtrex is good. posted
