Got news meds from doc. Says I am not to run but
if weather is decent, walk should be ok if I don't overdo. Guess where it's supposed
to RAIN?! :P Trying to make the best of it -- I'll be leaving the starting line
with everyone else, so even if i don't make it to the other end and need to pull
of I'll be pleased to have gotten that far in supporting NF. Nobody can help when
they get sick. There's always another race. We'll see how it actually turns out...wish
us luck! :)

Caught flu from nieces over Xmas. Rotten
timing! :P Called my doc and the office is closed til Jan 2. I want to get checked
out and see if I can race or not this weekend! Basically I'm over the feverish
bit, but there's this still this sore throat/cough thing. I'm going to be really
disappointed if I can't race. :(
