Week Two: The Reality of January

The reality of winter training dims the glow of the new training excitement a little bit.

"I took a quick drive around the Kitty Tour to determine wogability - and it's still a mess. Seeing as we're supposed to get rain and snow in the middle of the week, I should probably hang onto my gym membership for a bit longer.

I'm ready for spring!" ~Adrith

Even though Cat is in Florida, it's still much colder than the rest of the year.

"We're going for endurance on this trip and plan to shoot for 50 miles. 25 miles out, break for lunch, then the 25 miles back. I'm pretty excited. Didn't layer enough though so my chest and stomach were freezing. Picked up a cheapie vest at walmart that's nylon shell over a wicking polyester lining. Horrid orange, but highly visible in case we get separated." ~Cat

Adrith does an interview about her NF Marathon Team experience for New Hampshire Public Television, and Cat is getting geared up for her 50-mile bike trip. There are still things to be positive about!
