Three: So Much Fun
This week, Cat
reports on her enjoyable bike trip.
"We went to Withlacoochee
State Forest for the weekend to bike on the rails-to-trails and on the off-road
bike paths. It was sooo much fun! We knows on the paved trail the first day we
went for 32 miles, but the next day on the off-road trails Paul broke his odometer
wire when he got snagged by some branch so we have no idea how far we went." ~Cat
Adrith's
happiness for the week comes during the cooldown of a typical workout at the gym.
"The other positive thing is that two to three minutes into my cooldown, I
checked my heartrate as I usually do. Instead of hovering between 160 and 165
as it did this weekend, my heartrate was bouncing between 150 and 155.
I'm
improving! I'm improving! Wheeee!!! " ~Adrith
The feel-good
parts of the week are making training in January that much more tolerable.
