Week Nineteen: Heat Problems

Cat battles problems with heat.

"Went to Bally's this morning to try to escape today's 92 deg heat. No dice. Even that early it was still 86 deg. And it's all smokey because now that summer is here the state is on fire again. Sigh. On the bright side, I took my mini radio mom gave me. So light! Barely bigger than the sportbrain. I listed to the classic rock station and someone out there likes me because the first thing I heard was Ice Cream Man. I hadn't heard that in a while. So I started thinking about ice cream, sorbet, popsicles, sex, slurpees, beaches, cool swimming water and more. Free Bird got me through the horrible part where the incline has gotten to the highest point and Jimi Hendrix brought me home. Then I packed it in and got the heck out of there before the gym started smelling like many people's armpits!" ~Cat

Weather just doesn't look good in Florida.
